Re: [Salon] EU country urges Ukraine to strike Russia

Bloomberg did report the comments, which then made it onto Radio Free Europe, a US-funded propaganda organ.  I am grateful to Rajan Menon for calling this to my attention: https://www.rferl.org/a/ukraine-strike-russia-targets/32155673.html

Russian media are now literally banned in countries like France and it is regarded as almost treasonous to read them in the United States.  Yet Russia is a party to the mess in Ukraine and Russian media remain the best way to access Russian thinking as opposed to Western interpretations of it, which are routinely prejudicial.

In this case, of course, the Latvian position (Latvia being the most russified of all the Balts) remains unreported in our media, as far as I can tell.  But I do not subscribe to Bloomberg and it is possible that the RT citation of Bloomberg reflects something it filed.
